No — heavy inert debris (concrete, brick, block, asphalt, dirt, gravel, tile) should only go in the 10-yard. Its 1-ton tonnage allowance and shorter walls keep the load road-legal. A 20 or 30-yard filled with concrete blows past axle limits long before it looks full and you'll hit overage fees fast.

Are shingles, drywall, and clean wood allowed with mixed C&D debris?

Accepted Answer

Yes — shingles, drywall, framing lumber, flooring, cabinets, siding, and clean wood are all fine for the 16, 20, 22, and 30-yard mixed C&D loads. Keep tear-off shingles in the 16 or 22-yard to stay under tonnage; pure shingle loads can sometimes be recycled at a lower rate — ask dispatch.

What appliances are accepted, and which ones aren't?

Accepted Answer

Stoves, dishwashers, washers, dryers, microwaves, water heaters, and BBQ grills (tank removed) are accepted. Refrigerators, freezers, A/C units, dehumidifiers, and anything containing refrigerant or freon are NOT allowed — they need EPA-certified evacuation first. We can recommend a haul-off partner if you need it.

Will you take the load if there's a tire, paint can, or propane tank mixed in?

Accepted Answer

No — the disposal facility will reject the entire load and the rejected-load fee passes through to you. Pull tires, liquid paint (dried-out cans are OK), propane and helium tanks, fluorescent tubes, batteries, and any sealed drum BEFORE pickup. When in doubt, text us a photo and we'll confirm.

Our 10-yarder is built for heavy stuff: concrete, brick, block, asphalt, dirt, sand, gravel, tile, stucco, and roofing tear-off. The shorter walls and 1-ton tonnage allowance make it the safest choice for dense materials that would overload a larger box.

Yes — as long as the load stays under the 1-ton weight cap and below the fill line. We recommend keeping clean concrete or dirt loads separate when possible; pure loads can sometimes be recycled at a lower disposal rate.
